Dear Diary

Wonderful World of Wigs #60

Guten Tag Schatzie!  I had a gorgeous, crazy week in Germany!  I was HAGsausted when I landed so went directly to bed in my glamorous suite that The Axel Hotel always outs me in.  I awoke 10 hours later and went to dinner with Berlin's #1 Drag Star and birthday gal, Gloria Viagra, Electro Baby Jane and my ex (and amazing wig stylist!) Marec.  On Friday night I had a show in the restaurant of Axel, in exchange for the suite for a week it's well worth it!  It was packed with so many friends that I hadn't seen in a long time and I had a great time.  The next morning Gloria and I were off to Dresden for a club show.  I'd never been there but it is a beautiful city!  The club was fun, they know how to party in the East! lol.  Then Sunday we made our way back for Berlin's best gay party, GMF.  Gloria was DJing and I was performing for their 16th Anniversary.  As usual, GMF was PACKED and crazy fun.  It's one of the best parties I've been to in the world.  Monday night we had a delicious dinner at La Cocotte to celebrate Gloria's birthday and then the next morning I was on my way back to NYC.

The following weekend I was back in Our Nation's Capitol for my monthly residency at Level One and Cobalt.  I always have fun there, the dinner show is packed and of course upstairs later at Cobalt it's madness.  Josh Rosenzweig from Here TV and Daniel joined me.  We popped over to Swish Edition for an interview in-between the shows. Cobalt has the sexiest bartenders, all in jock straps, and the "hetero" one kept filling me with Jack Daniels.  I was like, "Hunty, you don't have to get me drunk to take advantage of me!"  We staggered into The W Hotel around 3am and were all a bit hung over the next day.  But we rallied to make it Arias With A Twist.  Yes the brilliant show that I saw about 15 times in NYC was playing in DC.  Joey Arias was on fire and we had a few giggles in her dressing room after the show.  The had dinner with my dear friends Bruce and Bobby.  We drove up to Mount Airy Sunday to have lunch at Bruce's restaurant, Laurienzo Brick Oven.

The opening night of the "new and improved" Sherry Vine Show at Industry on Wednesdays now was a smash success.  The joint was full and we had a blast.  I had 4 dancers; Ricky JMV, Antyon LeMonte, Dane Sorensen and Devin Snow, a new video parody by Francis Legge and the rocking DJ Scotty Rox!!  I miss Barracuda of course but after 7 years it was time for a little change.  And Industry is hot packed with hot boys and with a great hot sound system - so please come visit me!! HOT!

This past weekend was filled with wigs hunty.  Friday night I had a show in Worcester, MA, about an hour from Boston.  Two local queens hired me to come up and perform at their opening night for a new gay party at Club Universe.  When Peter Pan bus dropped me off, Viola and Nikita were there to claim me.  They whisked me off to Sweet T Diner (the T is for Tea not Tina!).  Now girl, you know I don't usually eat but the food was sooooooo yummy and authentic Southern Cuisine; REAL sweet tea, fried okra, fried catfish - heaven!!!  The turn out was less than expected but we made the most of it and the queens up there were nice and outrageous!  I had fun chatting with Andrew, the publicist on the new show Eden's World.  I took the bus home and arrived in NYC just in time to throw a face on and head down to Splash for the Get Out Awards where I was being honored with the Icon Award.  And what an honor!  Michael Musto, Francis Legge and Lovari presented me with this special award and EVERYONE was there.  Looking especially gorgeous - my dearest Peppermint.  Werk girl.  My friend Logan picked me up at Splash and we gathered my friend Erik and headed out to Rutgers New Jersey for my show at The Den.  I've been there before and it's a great crowd to perform for.  They really appreciate a show!  The queen bee there, Alexis, and I were cackling in the dressing room and the shot boy, Frank, was giving me Tony Danza circa 1977 Taxi era!!!  That's what I'm talking about!! LOL!

WONDERFUL WORLD OF WIGS #59

Whenever I'm in NYC for a spell I try to be supportive and see shows.  I love a good drag show but sometimes an amazing show doesn't involve any wigs at all!  Case in point - Selene Luna! you maybe know her from The Margaret Cho show or other TV appearances.  We met last year in LA when I was staying with Jackie Beat and I love in love with her.  This was her first solo show in NYC and I was not going to miss it.  Luckily, Selene did not disappoint - she was fucking hilarious!!  The show opened with her video Calling It Out (YouTube it NOW!) and I literally screamed several times!  One of my fav parts was her "Tap dancing For Dick".  Honey, I know that time step all too well!!

My dear baby, Richard JMV, who has been in almost all of my videos, invited me to the premiere of a new musical at The Minetta Lane Theatre, The City Club Musical.  It's a noir based musical with very talented singers, a 1940's style mystery and a lavish set!!  They obviously spent some coins on this one!

Then I was off to XL for the one night only extravaganza from RuPaul's Drag Race Season One Winner, Bebe Zahara Benet entitled Creature.  Bebe packed the place and when the show started I thought I would jump to my feet - not because Shequida was trying to finger me -but because the opening number was epic!  6 VERY sexy dancers, 2 hot back up singers and Bebe in full Cameroon regalia!!  The show consisted of original songs that had an African flavor and the most colorful costumes.  Soooo much work went into the show and Bebe should be very proud!

I had 2 out of town shows this week - the first a BIG show I did at Harrah's Casino on the Cherokee reservation in North Carolina with Pandora Boxx and Mimi ImFurst.  I hadn't been involved in a full scale drag spectacular in a long time and it was so fun to rehearse and put it together.  We had 4 dancers; Richard JMV, Antyon Le Monte, Oliver Wallace (aka Roxy Couture) and J Tyler Whitmer.  They turned it out!  And it was a blast working with "girls" who are professional and enjoy performing.  We all met up in NC the night before and spent all day etching and rehearsing.  It was also amazing to work in a big 2,000 seat theatre with real microphones, monitors, dressing rooms AND a Paula Dean Buffet!!!  hello!!  We did a big opening number, Big Spender and each had 20 minutes to do out own thing.  We also each did an "impersonation" section.  Mimi was fantastic as Adele, Pandora turned out Madonna's Vogue.  I started out in full Gaga drag and then turned into Cher in 10 seconds onstage.  So fun.  We closed with another big group number of Wanna Be which the crowd loved.  After the show the boys were voguing and carrying on in the casino bar!  Remind you, this is Bible Belt HETERO land but the straight boys were buying them drinks and having a blast.

I did a show at Score in Miami a few weeks ago and it went so well that they invited me back down to do a big performance for their Gay Pride.  It's in April because it's too frigging hot in the summer.  Lol.  Of course, the club was packed and I had a blast.  They were loving the show -yes, they were bombed, but still loving it!  After the show, I was hanging with some friends who kept showing me pics of naked guys they met on the nude beach - I love South Beach!!

Off to Berlin now so I'll have some good stories next time!!

WONDERFUL WORLD OF WIGS #58

Oy vey!  I totally forgot this article was due!  It's 1am, I'm a bit tipsy and itching to watch Game Of Thrones (or Game of Thorns as Epiphany seems to think it's called) so here goes…

I had a week full of Candis Cayne, which is always a gorgeous thing!!  Candis came to NYC to film the last episode of the first season of She's Living For This.  She arrived on a Friday and had a show that night at XL.  Epiphany and I were performing at Qunnipiac University in New Haven, CT and after turning it out for 2 hours hopped on the Metro North train in full sequined gown drag to make it to XL for the Candis Cayne show.  What a hoot!  I was nervous about people being stupid but they all just wanted a picture.  lol.  We made it in time and Candis was flawless as always.  NYC really missed her.  On Saturday we went to see The Hunger Games.  And all day Monday and Tuesday we filmed the show.  Candis and I have been dear friends for YEARS and it was such a joy to work with her again.  She was amazing and I can't wait to see the final version of the show.

We had a viewing party for Episode #3 which star Joey Arias, also at XL, and it was a blast.  So many fun people showed up; Cazwell, Bunny, Bianca, Busted, Miss Guy.  Then we hung out for the Hot Mess show starring Bunny and Bianca with Skyla, Epiphany, Suga Pie Koko and Milan.  It was a hot mess in the best possible way.  If you haven't been to XL make your way there now for a drag Xtravaganza!!  My favorite parts are when Bunny literally climbs onstage to read Bianca while she is "entertaining" (and I use that word very loosely) the audience.  The girls were all on fire.  The opening number, Cell Block Tango, was fucking smoking!!

I've been working on an indie film called Welcome To New York starring Sean Paul Lockhart )the artist formerly known as Brent Corrigan). I play the lady shrink so I get to be in most of the scenes.  Sean Paul is a sweetheart and we had a blast.  They had a cast party at Vlada where another of the film's stars, Lauren Ordair, performed.  I wish I saw more of Lauren because she is sooooooo talented.  Bitch, get out there more.  She sings like a Broadway diva and did a lip synch number with about 3 super fast costume changes onstage!!  People were screaming!

I went to see an Off Broadway show called The City Club Musical with Therapy manager, Paul.  My baby Ricky JMV invited us to the red carpet event.  The show is a noir musical with unbelievably talented singers.  And the set was gorgeous!  They obviously spent some coins on this show.  Check it out at The Minetta Lane Theatre.

Ok - Games of Thrones is calling me.  Any woman who can walk into fire and emerge unscathed, naked, with dragons on her, deserves to be worshipped!!

WONDERFUL WORLD OF WIGS #57

Hello chick-a-dees and chick-a dews.  I just returned from a little east Coast Tour - represent!  I did a show again in DC at Level One and Cobalt but this time with the "you never know what's going to come of her mouth/always full of surprises" Bianca del Rio.  Howard Johnson's was nice enough to give her the day off; after all, it was Maid's Day.  We had a blast!  It was my first time traveling with Bianca and I have to say she is so easy and funny to work with.  We were cracking up the entire time.  She shocked DC onstage for the hot underwear contest but they loved her!  We also just filmed episode #4 of She's Living For This with Bianca and again, totally fun to work with. Once she masters the English language she's gonna be a force! The next day, a wee bit hungover, I made my way to Philly for a show at Voyeur to celebrate the birthday of ex-porn star Gunner.  Gunner is a sweetheart and ultra talented.  And I'm not just referring to his 11" talent!!  He's a designer, does amazing graphic work, and runs a porn empire.  I performed and then introduced P.A.K. - the new group starring Power Infinity, Kevin Aviance and Kitty Meow.  They were fantastic!!  I adore Kevin and have known him for years.  And let me tell you - he's still got the magic touch . No one can create a beat like Kevin!!  Then after getting kicked out of the bathroom (the go go boy was helping me look for my lost contact lens!) I was on a 6am flight to Miami.  Once I got there I wanted to nap but the weather was so gorgeous I walked around.  I hadn't been to South Beach in years so had fun just wondering around and ran into some friends.  I performed that night at Score with Big Kim who was a NYC resident for a few years.  The crowd was fabulous and tipped boots!  Hung out with some other ex-NYers; DJ T Pro, my papi Ricky and his hubby, Big Red.  The staff at Score was the nicest of any bar I've been to in a long time.  Very laid back, on it and silly!

I have a new video parody up!  I teamed up again with my dynamic sister, Peppermint, for a parody of JLo's Papi - called Use A Bidet!  Directed by Francis Legge, of course, the video is now up and pretty darn funny.  But NSW!!  Lol. Check it out and please subscribe!!

Speaking of Peppermint, we went with our manager from Therapy, Paul, to see one of the most entertaining shows I've seen in a long time: PEPPER 'N SAM: WHATEVER POSSESSED THEM?  At first, I didn't know what to expect but 10 minutes into the show the audience was already screaming and yelling.  They are both uber talented.  The voices!!! Oy vey!  Played by Salty Brine and Justin Levine (who is a brilliant musician!!) they are over the top funny, engaging and powerful.  And the band, The Dead Poet's Society rocked.  I fucking love it - can't say any more.  It's playing one more night - Sat April 28 and I plan on being there!!  Ars Nova.

THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF WIGS #56

There were 2 big events I was involved with recently; the viewing party of the premiere episode of my variety show on Here TV -  SHE'S LIVING FOR THIS at Industry bar.  The place was packed and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.  Then a few nights later we celebrated my 20 Year Anniversary of Sherry Vine with an all star extravaganza at Barracuda!  Hard to believe it's been 20 years, especially since I am only 27 now.  I still absolutely love performing in drag and I am so grateful,  I fucking love my life!  And thank you soooooo much to everyone who showed up and all the queens for performing - I sincerely appreciate it!!  And if you wanna giggle ask Francis Legge to show you the blooper reel he made!

I have wanted to visit South America for years and finally popped my cherry in Argentina!!  I was invited down to Buenos Aires to perform at Fiesta Dorothy, a big gay circuit party, that was gorgeous and over-the-top!  It was at the Palacio Asino which is the biggest club I've ever seen; 4 floors with wrap around balconies, an enormous stage, and the entire back wall and ceiling was an LED screen - que fuerte!!!  There were 2,500 gays and believe me, all of them were hot!  lol.  Pablo, the promoter, arranged for 4 dancers to be in the show.  They watched my videos and had the choreography down by the time I arrived!  So that was an easy rehearsal!  My first night there they took me to dinner and we were talking and somehow the conversation turned to late nights and I said, "Honey, I am always in bed by 3am!"  Well they laughed and looked at me and said, "Ummm, your show starts at 3am!"  Oy vey! I didn't know but in Argentina people don't go out until 2am.  The club is empty at 1:45am and then at 2am 2,500 showed up!  Loco!  The show was amazing and they loved it and I danced and chatted until 6am.  There were a few queens running around and dancing onstage; Maverick and Electra - so funny.  I love when you can go to another country, not be able to really communicate well, and still feel like friends after 5 minutes.  So the next night, my night off, I got dolled up and went out with the gals anyway and had a blast! Then on Sunday before I left I did a quick tour of the must see places. Evita's burial site, Casa Rosada, etc.  How could I come back to my musical theatre queens without having stood outside the famous balcony that Eva (and more importantly, Madonna) stood on?  I can't wait to return to BA!!

I stopped by the birthday bash of dear friend, Roxy Couture, the other night.  Sat at the bar- not drinking but cracking up nonetheless - with Sahara Davenport.  Happy Birthday doll!

Went to see Jesus Christ Superstar on Broadway with my show buddy, Jhett.  LOTS of wigs!!  Lol.  It's a great production; gorgeous and the 2 male leads sing like crazy and are not hard to look at!

THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF WIGS #55

On the home front, I wanted to give shout outs to 2 very important organizations that had events recently.  Project Achieve presented SOS (Save Our Sex) at the new fabulous XL hosted by Peppermint and Stella D'oro.  They had a panel of guests representing different segments of the community to discuss sex and how it relates to us as a community.  Topics included; HIV prevention, porn, safe sex vs barebacking, education, and more.  We must continue this conversation - the fight is not over.

Then the following week I hosted an event for Let's Cure AIDS at Therapy.  The event, Love Diamonds, is raising funds to continue stem cell research in hopes of bringing a cure to the people.  Guest performers included;  Joey Arias, Peppermint, Marty Thomas, Danny Blu, Dirty Martini, Brittany Campbell and Anouska.  We had a great turn out and the show was stellar!  To learn more please visit Let'sCureAIDS.org.  We are not there yet but they are dedicated to finding a real cure!

I was also invited to be a part of Encore For Hope, The American Cancer Society's benefit in support of their efforts within the LGBT community.  The event was held at Providence and was fabulous.  Everyone was dressed up and the evening was quite posh doll.  Hosted by Judy Gold with shows by NY Gay Men's Chorus, Sahara Davenport, Manila Luzon, The Ben Allison Band featuring Joey Arias and 2 To Fly.

Mama is back on the road!  January was the first month in years that I didn't get on one plane.  And while it was nice to spend time in NYC, no funny = no money! But February and March are crazy again!  I just got back from Phoenix, AZ where I always have a good time.  For this of you who don't know, I didn't either, Phoenix is gay hunty!  There are like 30 gay bars and a hundred drag queens!  I guess lots of LGBTers flock there because the weather is flawless.  A bit hot in the summer but last weekend was heaven.  I'm thinking of becoming a snow bird…

I was invited out by my comrade in arms, Pandora DeStrange of the Gender Outlaws to perform at The Rock.  Everyone is so sweet!  The owner Mike took us to a delicious lunch, Pandora and I went shopping all over town, Boom Boom gave me a bag of goodies for free and the other queens were so gracious and welcoming.  Friday night I was part of Pandora's cavalcade and Saturday I was a guest of the amazing, and also a dear friend, Barbra Seville.  All the gals that weekend turned it out.  There is a ton of talent in Phoenix hunty!

If you didn't see Bianca Leigh in BUSTED, The Musical, last year then you are gonna get another chance and I highly urge you to see it.  Bianca is wonderful!!  She sings, she reveals candid stories and she is gorgeous.  I saw the show once and can't wait to go again!  The Laurie Beechman Theatre March 8-29, every Thurs at 7pm.

Just got back from performing at The Flamingo Resort in St. petersburg, FL.  FUN!!!  I was fried but the joint was packed and the crowd gave me the energy and the other queens gave me the drugs - Kidding! - laughter to hit it and bring it.  The gals there were hilarious and filthy!  Thanks Alexis, Kamden and Miranda.

BIG NEWS:  My new variety show, SHE'S LIVING FOR THIS, is on Here TV!!  The premiere episode is now running so please check it out!  It's my life long dream come true!  Total Carol Burnett meets Cher meets Laugh In meets toilet humor with some sexy boys thrown in.  First guest, Mx Justin Vivian Bond.  You can also watch it on HereTV.com.  Thanks!!!

Wonderful World of Wigs #54

I have been overwhelmed by all the drag in NYC - finally!  I was in town for a spell and made an effort to hit the town to see what as going on and hunty, I was blown away!  I have visited Tina Burner at Vlada a few times after my show at Therapy and am living for her.  Tina is over-the-top and hilarious.  She's performing all over the place now so check her out.  One night she had Busted as a guest.  Busted, as you must know, is one of my fav performers and (shameless plug!!) a featured performer in my new variety show on Here TV, She's Living For This!  Busted did an Adele number that was AMAZING!

I was hostessing one of the opening events at the new XL (gag!!!!) and introduced Krystal Something Something.  It was the first time I saw her perform and she is crazy and fun.  Then Mila Jam took the stage and tore it up with her new single, Warrior, by Mila and DJ Gomi. Mila is gorgeous and sweet and so talented!  Check out the sizzling video for Warrior on YouTube.

Speaking of XL, I went to see Shequida as Jessye Normous.  She had an orchestra and really gave you your money's worth . And that was just downstairs in the toilet!  All kidding aside, this was a top notch spectacular performance worthy of $100 Broadway ticket BUT only $10 so check it out!  It's funny, it's impressive - it's Shequida at her best!  Every Tues.

Then the next night I returned to XL to see Hot Mess starring Lady Bunny, Bianca del Rio, Skyla Versai, Milan, Jiggly Caliente and Sugga Pie Koko.  From the choreographed opening number to Bianca sweeping the floors - it was another entertaining evening.  Milan served it up dancing all over the place.  Skyla did a gorgeous GaGa medley.  Bunny is always hilarious and Bianca had a brilliant video she made about the other girls!  We want more!!!  It's every Wed.

My dear fiend, oops, friend, Miss Guy has a new single and video called Dumb Blonde.  I know she didn't write it for me but I still love it.  Actually, I am obsessed with it! The song is so hot.  And director Francis Legge has out done himself again.  The video is sexy, 80's (1980's not Guy's real age) and rock and roll glam!!

I was in NYC for all of Jan but now the jet has been fueled up and I'll be singing about poop all over the world this month.  Just got back from doing a show in Helsinki, Finland.  Sooooo fun! I was there for the reopening of a famous gay bar there called dtm.  It was freezing cold but the Finns know the secret to keeping warm -booze! lol.

Lastly - please check out my new video parody also by Francis Legge starring myself and one of my favorite stars of television - Pandora Boxx!!  It's a parody of Madonna's Give Me All Your Luvin called Give Me All Your Muff (adult content!).

WONDERFUL WORLD OF WIGS #53

Hear ye, hear ye!  There is a new queen in town poised to take over and they call her Roxy Couture!  Roxy Couture, Roxy Couture, Roxy Couture!  But let me start at the beginning.

You know I love my drag shows but I am seldom in NYC on the weekends as I am jet setting off to some fabulous location to perform for the masses.  Alright, I'm in Jersey singing to a group of 2 senior citizens at a nursing home, but enough about Lady Bunny and Shequida.  I was in town last weekend so decided to make a night of bar hopping with pals David Serrano, Francis Legge and the goddess Tracy von Becker-Legge.  First stop - the newest bar in HK, Fairy Tale.  It's super cute and they did a good job at the theme.  Francis and I were like, "We have to give our next video a Midsummer Night's Dream setting and shoot here!"  Cazwell was doing a great job DJing, Joey Israel was charmingly chatting with us and Tommy Hotpants was whipping up the cocktails.  Very sexy go go boys!  Then we were off to the opening of Rock It at the new mega-club, XL.  Marcus graciously allowed us to skip the line down the block and enter.  I have to say I was blown away.  FINALLY a big state-of-the-art GAY club where we can dance, lounge, see a show and watch Bunny DJ and make faces!  lol.  Also saw Logan Hardcore and Sable Cities on crutches, poor dear and Adam Remz.  One drink, time to move on - we headed down to Splash to wish Michael Formika Jones a "Happy Birthday".  We missed the cut off for the guest list but luckily one of the sweetest managers in town who I have known for years, Ron, was outside and escorted us in and handed me a stack of drink tickets! Party!!  Now we are all tipsy and laughing it up with Formika, Cherry Jubilee and the va-va-voomalicious Dina Marie.  Somehow we walked over to 8th Ave to visit Roxy at her party at El Cid.  There was a very cute and festive crowd.  Really, really fun and nice people.  My baby Antyon was behind the bar so my goal of not going home bombed was thoroughly destroyed.  But it was all worth it when Miss Roxy Couture busted out to perform.  Roxy, not to be confused with recent Florida transplant, the beautiful and dear Roxy Brooks, whom I also adore; but Miss Couture gave us 4 numbers with 4 entirely different looks.  She changed hair to toe hunty!  The children were gagging.  I felt like I was in Paris Is Burning with all the popping and vogueing and swirling.  Thanks for the SHOWS gurl.

Another queen who turned me out in a completely different way - Sir Honey Davenport!  I went to watch Honey's show at Vlada where she is doing an electro party.  I love electro and am thankful to hear anything other than the 3 songs you usually hear in a bar.  Honey has being serving up some fiercer looks and this night she did not disappoint.  Punk hair, club kid fashion and painted for the gods.  But it was the show that really impressed me.  Honey had a 3 piece electronic band and did a whole live set - tearing it up!!  My favorite song was Honey's original called Indestructible!!

Just wait - there are still more queens turning it out!! How exciting!!  I went to Queen at Industry to hang out with Pandora (visiting from LA), Electro Baby Jane (visiting from Germany), Isaac and Matt of Wigbar, Alec and DJ David Serrano.  I wanted to be home early but once the show started I couldn't bring myself to leave.  They had me tied to a chair lol!  NO - it was because these bitches were on fire.  The theme was Circus and mama loves a theme.  Dallas DuBois brought the house down several times!  I've known Dallas for awhile and she just gets better and better.  Really fucking on point!  Everyone in the show there is super talented and it's thrilling to see new talent; Bootsie, Pixie Aventura and Ivy Winters.  If you haven't seen them check them out!  I adore Bootsie and Pixie is another favorite.  Ivy juggles knives and eats fire - hello!!  Cheers and thanks for all the entertainment!

WONDERFUL WORLD OF WIGS #52

Since I haven't been traveling as much these first few weeks of 2012 I decided to focus on queens here in NYC!  There's so much drag - new and old - that going out is exciting again.  Finally, a new crop of talented and fun GALS!  There was a period of time where there weren't so mangy new queens but the past 1-2 years has been a renaissance of new talent!!  There are so many to list I don't know where to start but if you pop by Star Search with Mimi ImFurst at Barracuda or Peppermint's Cattle Call at Therapy or Tina Burner's Tranimal at Posh you will see a bunch of gals strutting their stuff for coins.  Dancing queens, singing queens, comedic queens - something for everyone.  In other words - go out and support these ladies!

Two dear drag friends of mine from out of town are you in NYC for a spell.  Confetta, from London, comes quite often as her gay lover Kyle lives here.  I met Confetta in Manchester when I was performing there with Joey Arias.  We got fucked up!  Rolling in the street drunk.  Oh lordie.  But Confetta is a sweetheart and I always look forward to her visits.  Also in town, Electro Baby Jane form Cologne, Germany.  EBJ is here for a month and has been making the rounds all over and working at Green House on Sundays.  If you haven't seen her get online and check out her Terminator Drag!  Outrageous.  But she's a dear and we've known each other for years. She's a super star in Ibiza and I hope we can keep her in The States for a bit longer.

Last Monday we were celebrating the birthday of Video Director extraordinaire Francis Legge at my Monday night show at Therapy.  His goddess finance Tracy was there in full drag - gorgeous!  Then we premiered the video of recording artist, Lovari.  I have also known Lovari for several years and he is the sweetest!  I just love him.  Also supportive.  The video is a cover of Debbie Gibson's Foolish Beat - check it out on YouTube.

Just got back from my monthly residency at Cobalt in DC.  This time I dragged Peppermint down with me.  We both wanted to nap on the train but ended up yakking the whole way!  Once you get her going she is hilarious!  People were terrified.  "Who are these screaming queens on Amtrak?"  We did 3 shows; 9pm at Level One.  Peppermint's family showed up and loved the show.  Then we twirled down to JR's for a quickie and then back to Cobalt for our Midnight show.  We did our parody of Telephone and they lived.  And then once, on the train home, we were cackling and hooting it up.  Let me tell you - I love that Peppermint!
